Jason Asks: On Death Mountain I keep getting killed by the falling rocks on the northern path. What do I do?
A: If you equip a Hylian Shield you will not be hurt by the falling rocks. It's best just to hold "R" until
the avalanche stops.
Megan asks: My name is megan and Im not sure how to get the mirror sheild. Do you know. If you do could you email
me? Thanks.
A: It's in the Spirit Temple. You get it as an Adult, after you defeat an Iron Knuckle.
Marcie Asks: As young link in Zora's Domain, how do you beat diving game? Link only stays under
water for 3 sec. Do you need a potion or do you just keep trying until you beat it?
A: You keep trying until you beat it! Here's a few tips:
Try and position Link's Shadow on the rupee. Also, when 2 rupees are close together in the
water, nab 'em both if you can!
Jason's Mom (this is a different Jason!!) asks:
Hi, I got your email off of the Zelda board. My 8 year old son rented Zelda for his N64, but it doesn't have any directions.
Could you direct me to where he might find them or get help????
He's getting frustrated.
BTW Which Zelda board? I'm on lots of them.
Kyle asks: How do you put the Master sword back (to become
a child again) if that girl is in the way? And how do you beat the room after the room thats twisted in the Forest
Temple?
A: The girl (Sheik) moves when you get the Forest Medallion, which
is the medallion you get from beating the forest temple.
As for the Room after the Twisted Room, just keep moving to keep the wallmaster from grabbing
you, and go up the ladder to find a locked door. There, you enter the Poe rooms, go through the first one and get the bow.
Go back to the previous one and shoot the poes in the painitngs. When you've shot all 3, you fight the poe and then you can
go through back to the Bow room. Go through and do the same for a different Poe. This probably goes past the question you
asked, but...
Hope this helps!
Kyle asks: How do you defrost King Zora. And what do you do
with a broken giants knife?
A: You defrost King Zora with Blue Fire, from the Ice Cavern or a store.
And the broken Giant's Knife is still usable, but I think you should either buy a new one or go through the trading sequence
(adult) to get an unbreakable one.
Hi. This is ANONYMOUS, and I have a question.
I screwed up REALLY BADLY in the Water Temple. I can't change the Water Temple Water Level anymore....I'M CONFOOZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A: Arrgh, the water temple, that as hard >.< . If it's at the highest level, go through the entrance
on the bottom with 2 torches in front of it. To make it at the medium level, go in the door on the tower after you've lowered
it to the bottom. Finally, keep going after you raise that water until you find a door, which you go through to get to
the highest water raising thingy (sorry if I'm wrong on that last one). If you actually aren't able to raise/lower the
water level, make sure that it's Zelda's Lullaby that you're playing. If none of that above works, then I don't know
what else to suggest other than the fact that your game is quite messed up. Hope I helped!
How do you beat the poes? Whenever I try to shoot them, they just disappear.
And there are no hiding spots, so how DO you beat them?
ANONYMOUS (again)
I'm guessing that you're talking about the Big Poes of Hyrule Field. :s that's a chore
You have to be REALLY REALLY fast. When you see them just shoot without thinking. Hit 'em twice without
them dissapearing and then you can bottle it. Sell it to the Poe Shop in the Market and he will give you 50 Rupees. Catch
all 10 and you get the last bottle.
If you mean the Forest Temple poes, shoot the paintings for the first 2 (blue and red) and then
kill him with your Bow and Sword. The third one (green) you have to solve a block puzzle, and the fourth (purple) you must
shoot the original and not the three fakes. (the original spins around and then after 2 seconds the others spin).
Hope I helped!
Hi I'm just wondering where you
found the pic for the card that I'm sending you. I tried to go to the site on it but it was not there. Thanx,
Link14
I saw the Link card in someone's signature on a Zelda Message
Board. It had the creator's copyrights on it, so I figured, why not! I have no idea where it came from.
