Tips and Things to do

Zelda 64 World

These aren't glitches, just tips and things to do if you're bored. try 'em if you like

Random things to do

Giant Stalchild: At night in Hyrule Field, kill about 15 Stalchildren and a big huge one will appear. In the Desert if you do this with Leevers a huge Purple one will appear.

This trick is rather funny...okay, here goes: As a kid, go to Princess Zelda in Hyrule Castle. After passing all the guards, enter the place where Zelda is. Walk to the LEFT window, and shoot it with deku seeds. After a while, a guard will pop out, tell you to stop making noise, and throw a LIT bomb at you. I suggest you run if you're low on health. P.S. You can't do this if you already have Goron's Ruby, and you can only do it once.

If you bomb the Hot Rodder Goron in Goron City as a kid, Gorons will come and attack you like the Cucoos do in Kakariko when you attack them too much.

Get into Dampe's house during the day: Go into Dampe's house at night. Play the suns song, and you'll be in there at day! I wonder where Dampe is...

The Sinking Lure: Go to the Fishing Pond and pay the guy. Run in the grass on the sides until you find a Sinking Lure. You can use it to catch heavier fish, the Hylian Loach, and in the next Random Thing To Do.

The Fisherman's Hat: If you are lucky and aim well you can catch the fisherman's hat. If you use it as bait, you have to pay for it. But wait there's more...

Catch the fisherman's hat with your regular lure. Then go and get the sinking lure. The fisherman's hat should no longer be visible on the lure. Walk up to him and give him his invisible hat. It will magically appear on his head. Weird huh?

Trapped In the Well: After draining the well as a kid, return to Kakariko as an adult. Grab the chicken from the windmill and bring it into the well. Then slash it until it retaliates. It's fun-I mean, horrible to watch them peck at you with almost no possible escape. If you try to climb the ladder, they'll peck you back down. GAmE OVER....hehehe.. there's a way to get out of this but I won't tell you. :)

Over the Fence: You know that fence behind the Windmill right? Using the cucco in the windmill and the Hover Boots, it is possible to get behind the fence. It may take a few tries. There's nothing there though, just keep running until you fall off the game and you will eventually be transported to the last door you opened. Blah how boring. And after ALL THAT too!

Interesting Points

Turd Cam: Well, this is kind odd...um...but here goes anyway. Walk up as close as you can behind Epona and use C-Up to look straight down. Let just say the camera is right behind the tail looking down at the ground.

Strange Chests: Have you ever noticed that when Link stands on an open big chest, he will be hovering over the inside of the chest without a platform being there. Odd...

The Sky is a Cube: During the daytime look at the sky. If you look close you will see the outline of a big cube with clouds textured on it. Weird, eh?

Chicken in the Windmill: Longshot to the top of the house with a blue roof. Then face the windmill. Look and there should be a small wooden post. Longshot to it. Climb up the stairs and you will eventually find a chicken. Howd it get there?

Tips

Easiness Fighting Gohma: When Gohma climbs on the celing shoot her with the slingshot before she lays any eggs. This makes the battle a lot faster.

Cheat in the Treasure Chest Game: Use the Lens of Truth.

Ganon's Castle Hidden Room: Under the door you first come out of in the main room that leads to  all the Medallion Rooms there is an invisible doorway that you can see with the Lens of Truth.  It leads to a room with fairies and a bunch of  Business Scrubs.

Magic Bean Soil Locations:

1.  Next to the guy who sells Magic Beans.
2.  In the Lost Woods in the area near the "Forest Stage."
3.  In front of Dodongo's Cavern.

Use your Sword Underwater: In Lake Hylia, equip the Iron Boots and the Zora Tunic. Charge your sword for the spin attack, and inch your way underwater (still holding B). When the Hookshot icon lights up, release B. You just used your sword underwater! But you can't use it again without starting the trick over.

How to get the Biggoron's Sword: (You must be an Adult)

1. Go to Kakariko village. Talk to the woman that used to own all the Cuccos (Anju). She'll give you an egg.. Wait a day (play Sun's Song), and it will hatch. Take it to the house where the carpenters used to stay and use it to wake up Talon. Then take it back to Anju. She'll give you a blue Cucco after giving the other one back.

2. Enter the Lost Woods from the Kokiri Forest and turn left.

3. Show the Blue Cucco to the guy sitting in front of a tree and he will give you the Odd Mushroom.

4. Go back to the LW entrance, go right, go left, and go forward. Cut through Goron City and Death Mountain to get to Kakariko. Go to the potion shop and go left to get to the other side. Go into the red building. Show the Odd Mushroom to the lady inside and she will give you the Odd Potion.

5. Go back to the lost woods where the guy was. A Kokiri (Fado) will be there. Give Fado the Odd Potion and she will give you the Poachers Saw.

6. Go to Gerudo Valley. Go across the bridge and give it to the boss of the carpenters, in front of the tent. He will give you the Broken Gorons Sword.

7. Warp to Death Mountain Crater and leave so that you will be at the top of death mtn trail. A ginourmous Goron will stand up as you walk to the left. Show him the Goron Sword and he will give you the Prescription.

8. Ride Epona over to Zoras River. Leave her where you can easily find her, then go to Zoras Domain. Give the Prescription to King Zora, and he will give you the Eyeball Frog.

9. Ride Epona to Lake Hylia (dont warp). Take the froggy to the Lab at Lake Hylia and he will give you the Eye Drops.

10. Ride Epona over to Kakariko and dismount. Go through Kakariko and get to the top of Death Mountain. Give the eye drops to the Ginourmous Goron and he will give you the Claim Check. Wait about 2 days (no suns song) and then give him the Check. Then you will get the Biggoron's Sword!
