Crooked Cartridge: Get past nonwall obsticles! Just pull the left side of the cartridge out while slowly
pushing up on the control stick until Link is invisible and the sound is screwed up. Now you can walk past
nonwall obsticles. This is also a stepping stone for other cool glitches.
Zelda64Gld's Crap Code: Zelda64Gld's Crap Code is an interesting glitch. It really shows how messed
up the game can get and how many glitches were left in. Random Butler, the guy who discovered this, should be recognized for
his work. What you're not supposed to see will now be revealed...
Step 1. Play any song that will warp you, or Saria's Song.
Step 2. When the words appear that tell you what song you played, pull out the left side of cartridge
just enough so that Link disappears, being careful not to freeze the game.
Now the tricky part:
Step 3. Quickly after this screen disappears, before the next screen pops up, quickly push the
left side of the cartridge back in. Be careful not to pull the right side out. For those of us who are right handed, keep
the right part of your hand pushing down on the right side of the cart. If done right you won't see a the little yellow line
in the corner until you see some letters or words or crap.
More help: You will see some cool crap. Sometimes it just scrolls across the screen and freezes.
Sometimes it scrolls all the way across the screen and stops. Sometimes it scrolls across and comes to the other side of the
screen. When you see the crap, but the game does not freeze, wait for a few seconds and a little blue arrow will appear. Low
and behold, just when you think it's done, sometimes 20 more screens of crap will appear. If you see the little blue square,
and hit A, the text box will disappear with the game frozen. There are hundreds of different results for this code.
Here are some of my best results:
#1: "100$" and I heard a shudder as in the beginning cut scene.
#2: "00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z
button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}00'00'{Z button symbol}" and etc. This repeated and overlapped
on my screen twice.
#3: "Á", then "Á", then "Á", then "Á", then "Á", then "Á", then "Ateteta" then "Á", then "Á", then
"Á", then "Á"
#4: "O" Then it zoomed out and got dark.
#5: "B ïhé ä ÁhÏxÈ ëhB ïhe ÁpÈ"
#6: "drlm the Gpe't F'ipy$s"
#7. Nothing happened and I was able to walk around with just Link and the Temple of Time. No buttons.
No life bar. No magic bar.
You can get all kinds of weird symbols, especially a lot of international letters. Some symbols
are $, Ç, |, @, arrows, and many others. Very weird...

Video Gamer X's Debug Code: While playing, pull the cart out slowly until the game messes
up. The game will freeze, and a yellow line will appear. Remember to leave the cart crooked while typing the code, and remember
all directions are in the D-Pad.
L button + R button + Z button
Control pad UP + "C" DOWN
"C" UP + Control pad DOWN
Control
pad LEFT + "C" button left
"C" RIGHT + Control pad RIGHT
A button + B button + Start Button
The debug/error code
will not be shown unless you push each button. Example: in the first step you must push the Z button while HOLDING the L and
the R.
You will then see a bunch of hidden coding. It also tells you the game's release date.
You will see stuff like "RCP is Hung Up!" "Oh! My God!!"
Reprogram The Game!!: This Glitch requires the Gameshark. Pop it in and use
a code like Yellow Tunic, etc. Go here: http://ns.webnetinc.com/~max/zgamesrk.html for GameShark codes.
After entering the codes of your choice, go do the Video Gamer X Debug Code. Then
save & reset. Your file will be erased, but those codes will be implemented permanentley!
See What an URA Zelda file would have looked like: First, you have to have beaten the game.
Meaning, if you've beat Gannon, saw the end, and then kept playing, you're OK. And you need an empty file.
1. Turn on your Nintendo 64 with Zelda in it.
2: Do Crooked Cartridge (above) until the sound becomes garbled noise. (Don't you hate it??) Do
not pust the cart back in until I say so.
3: Select the empty file. Give it a beautiful name of your choice and then say end.
4: Open your beautiful new file. Try playing it. Your game will crash. (arrgh)
5: Push the cart back in and reset.
The file select screen
should now have a file (or maybe two or three) which are 'greyed out', next to the greyed out files is a small
tag that says "disk". Note that any
save games not turned into 'URA Zelda' files will be erased. The 'URA Zelda' save files cannot be played because there is no N64DD with a Zelda disk in it attached, that's
why they're greyed out.
You
can't do anything with the files. If you try to copy or delete it, the game will crash and say:
Hungup
on Thread 4
Hungup

To
get rid of them try screwing around with the files with CC on. Who knows the old files may come back. If you can't get
rid of them or have screwed up your game trying, use some kind of fix/debugger to wipe all the files.
