It is sad for me to report that Nintendo is shutting down as many fan games as it can, including this one. You can still
read about it here however.....

A guy named Daniel Barras (screen name TheRealMethuselah) has been working on a homebrew (made by himself) version of Zelda 64...in 2D!

This looks like it is piecing together very well. There are some playable demos on his site, be sure to check them out!
